Car

April 19th, 2007

Guess who just got a 2007 white Toyota Corolla S…

:-D yes yes yes.. :D

So my dad comes home from work.. and hands me a key..

“here, check out your car..”

“what? what are you talking about?”

I looked at the key ring.. A car remote with the Toyota insignia.. (DA DA DUUM.. my dad drives a Honda Odyssey).. There was a tag that reads: “2007 Corolla/ White” (DA DA DUUM *this is for sound effects by the way..)

So I went out.. and saw this new white car parked on the driveway.. And I started crying..

I couldn’t believe it.. In my head all I could think of was: “No, no.. This is not mine.. This is probably just a lease..” But then I saw the plate.. and instead of a California number plate (if it was indeed a lease) there was the dealership name.. and I started crying some more..

I went back to the house and asked my mom if it was really mine..

“What o you think?”

With my eye liner and mascara running, I went up to my dad and thanked him…

I love my dad..
